Lori drives 2.5 hours every single week to receive chemotherapy. This doesn't leave much time to come back into the city for other activities with her son who has always wanted to go to the Carnegie Science Center. After a dance party in the limo, the Carnegie Science Center pulled out all the stops for an entire day of VIP and behind the scenes experiences. They watched live demonstrations and participated in hands-on experiments; the staff even kept the ropes course open after hours so Lori's son could have the time of his life. They finished their amazing day with dinner from Monterey Bay Fish Grotto on Mt. Washington.
