The Signature
ODTR Outing
We work closely with each of our families to plan a perfectly-curated day full of activities that the entire family can enjoy together. Meals, professional family photo session, and cost of transportation are all included- and we take the stress away by doing all of the actual planning. After returning home, each family receives a printed photo book from White House Custom Colour so that they can re-live their special day together long after their ill parent has passed.
Family Night to Remember
For families who are not able to head out into the world (whether it’s mobility, immunity, or hospice-related reasons), we bring the outing to YOU with Family Night to Remember. We arrange for dinner delivery from the restaurant of your choice as well as a game, movie, or another activity for the whole family to enjoy together.
More Than Just One Day
One Day to Remember does more than just provide families with a day free from cancer. Beyond their special outing, each family receives meaningful gifts that strengthen their bond and create lasting memories.
Writing and creative expression help children process big emotions. That is why every child receives a journal before their One Day to Remember outing.
This program was inspired by Jason Geist and his family’s experience, and by a simple act from his wife, Melissa, that turned reflection into a lasting tradition for future One Day to Remember families.
Jason’s Journal
Bo is more than a bear. He is the story keeper for our families. Gifted to each young child before their outing, Bo is held close and present for every moment as memories are made, offering comfort, joy, and a lasting connection to a day they will carry with them always.
Bo the Bear
As part of every family’s One Day to Remember, we provide a professional photographer to capture the joy, connection, and memories made throughout the experience. Every family also receives a curated photo album, preserving those moments in a lasting keepsake they can treasure for years to come.

Families create two handprint keepsakes, one to keep at home and one to send back to honor their legacy with One Day to Remember.
