Once again, your swings made a difference! Because of you, Swing for Smiles 2026 raised $51,000, enough to support 20 outings and help create unforgettable memories for One Day to Remember families.
The beautiful day started with breakfast from Driftwood Oven, complete with mimosas and Bloody Marys. Then, our founder and executive director, Rachel Antin, along with our special guests, reminded us exactly why we swing.
This year’s Swing for Smiles was dedicated in memory of Mike Ummer and Joe Durish, two One Day to Remember recipients and ambassadors for our mission.
Before golfers headed out for the shotgun start, Mike’s wife, Lori, shared how their “One Day” became a memory their family will cherish forever, all because of the generosity and support of this community.
Joe’s closest friends honored him with a foursome wearing matching shirts featuring Joe’s face. They spoke about the impact Joe had on their lives, how his memory continues to live on, and why supporting our mission is one of the most meaningful ways they can continue Joe’s legacy.
There truly was not a dry eye in sight.
A big thank you to our dedicated Swing for Smiles event co-chairs, Alec Templeton and Brian Goldman, who made it all possible!
